How to Play Carpet Sweeper

Objective:

Clean the dirty carpet while managing your fuel to achieve the highest score possible

Controls:

• Use the arrow keys to move the sweeper
• Press SPACE to generate a new carpet (-50 fuel)
• The sweeper moves automatically in a straight line
• Change direction by pressing another arrow key

Scoring:

• The first dirty tile you step on gives 1 point
• The second gives 2 points, the third 3 points, etc.
• If you step on a clean tile, consecutive points reset to 1

Game Board:

• Grey tiles: Dirty (give points)
• Brown tiles: Clean (no points)
• Green square: Your sweeper

Fuel:

• You start with 200 units
• Each move costs 1 unit
• You get 200 bonus units every 10,000 points
• When fuel runs out, you lose a life

New Carpet:

• Press SPACE or click the button to generate a new carpet for 50 fuel
• The sweeper returns to start and point streak resets to 1
• Only available if you have at least 50 fuel

Lives:

• You start with 3 sweepers (lives)
• When fuel runs out, you lose a life but your position stays the same
• When you lose a life, fuel is restored to 200 units
• When you lose a life, you keep your point streak
• You get 1 extra life every 100,000 points (maximum 10 lives)
• Game ends when you lose all lives

Leaderboard:

• The game saves the top 100 scores on the server
• If you achieve a new record, you can enter your name
• Compete with players from around the world
